Since 2003 I provide legal advice in Spanish, English and French, first as in-house counsel for a large hotel company, and starting on January 2012, as an independent legal practitioner.
Furthermore in 2008 I became a certified translator (English-Spanish), by appointment of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I specialise in legal translation, also in the language pair Spanish-French (certified since 2017), in which I provide freelance services to the European Court of Justice.
My practice is based in Spain, with a strong emphasis on commercial, corporate and hospitality law, online identity defence, contracts and international litigation. Furthermore I have ample experience in multinational transactions as well as in real estate and stock purchases, including the creation and management of complex corporate structures.
I have also coordinated multiparty negotiations with investors, joint venture partners and financial and governmental institutions at the highest level in preparation of large investments, with comprehensive post-closing follow-ups in order to ensure their success.
Thanks to my training in comparative law and legal expertise in the Caribbean, Central & South America, the USA, Northern Africa, Eastern Mediterranean & Eastern Europe I can offer seamless legal advice and practical guidance both for Spanish clients wishing to open new markets abroad and foreign clients interested in business opportunities in Spain and South America.
Furthermore I regularly collaborate with other law firms on projects in which my dual training as a lawyer-linguist and my experience in multiparty deals are an asset.
